Steve Peck  has managed Associations and condominium regimes since 1991 and been involved with construction and development since the 1980s and has offered no excuse for why he still does it. Steve served two terms on the Board of the Community Associations Institute (CAI-SC) and several years as Vice President. Steve earned a degree in Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business in the days back before there were computers. He has earned the designations of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) from the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers and Association Management Specialist (AMS) from CAI and has completed all of the coursework in CAI’s Professional Management Development Program. Steve is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Steve has created and conducts seminars on the topics of budgeting, Board governance and Board operations as well as many other topics in the field of Community Management. He is also a South Carolina Certified Pool Operator and the person who named this company Community Management Group.

Krista Westbury, CMCA is a highly motivated professional and is dedicated to providing exceptional service to the unique communities she manages. Krista’s background includes 12 years experience in the property management industry and she also holds a Property Management License. Krista works closely with Suzanne to proactively manage her communities.

 

 

 

 

"Shauna Decker, a native Kentuckian, has happily made Charleston her home for the past 19 years. Shauna has over a decade of experience in office administration and hospitality management, and a lifetime of experience in sarcasm, worthless pop culture trivia, and terrible jokes. She can often be found laughing just a little too loudly, and doing her best as Steve Peck’s Executive Assistant to assist him at every opportunity. Always happy to help others, Shauna is driven, determined, and highly motivated to contribute to the ongoing success of Community Management Group and their clients.

 

 

 

 

 

Jason Colonna has been managing clients and facilities since 2006 in both the public and private sector as a Senior Manager overseeing public school systems and higher education facilities. A former Infantry Soldier and Police Officer First Class working at a mid-sized metro police department, he is a graduate of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy and has studied at both Coastal Carolina University and Marshall University.

 

 

 

Tanya Zealy is is a native of Charleston. With her background as our Fiscal Services Specialist, she holds a wealth of knowledge and experience in the day-to-day operations of her Associations and is an expert in all things collections. Tanya is a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional who is always quick to respond and is incredibly organized. She is 100% committed to providing the highest level of quality in her work and is always ready to assist.

 

 

 

"Betty Johnson was born in the South but raised in Montana. She attended Montana State University. After relocating to Summerville in 1986, she was employed with a local hospital in the accounting department before moving into the world of new home construction in 1992. Betty served as operations manager for new home builder with communities on James Island, North Charleston, Summerville, & Goose Creek. During this time, Betty assisted with setting up several of those community HOA’s and continued to manage communities on James Island until June 2014. With over 20 years of community management experience, Betty is very detail oriented with emphasis on customer service. She strives to build lasting relationships with the homeowners served as well as assisting the Board in providing the communities everyone is proud to call home.

 

 

 

 

 

"Elizabeth Thomas is a Charleston native. She has over 12 years of customer service experience, in both hospitality and office administration. Liz is detailed oriented, highly motivated, and strives to make lasting relationships with homeowners and co-workers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Elizabeth Geary Community Manager and Charleston native, received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the College of Charleston. Bringing fifteen years of professional customer service and a strong work ethic to Community Management Group, she hopes to satisfy the needs of the homeowners in the communities she supports.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Logan Candela, is from Knoxville, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2015 with a degree in accounting and a collateral in finance. Soon after working as an accountant at LHP Capital, he decided he liked dealing with people rather than with numbers and has been doing account management ever since. He is a natural leader, enjoys people, and if he does not know the answer he will find it for you. Logan works and lives by the golden rule and treats all of his clients with respect.

 

 

 

 

 

Jeff Dixon is a native of South Carolina. He graduated from The University of South Carolina with a BA in History. He has an extensive background as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager. Jeff enjoys traveling, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family. He will strive to develop quality relationships with homeowners and co-workers alike.

 

 

 

 

 

Leidy Gray was born in Colombia, South America, but raised in Ohio. She attended the University of Cincinnati. Leidy has an extensive background in customer service and sales. She loves to travel and enjoys meeting new people. Leidy is highly motivated and strives to make lasting relationships.

 

 

 

 

 

Ashley McCutchen is a community manager with our team. She has a strong background in Business Management. She enjoys meeting new people and building lasting relationships. In her spare time she enjoys attending her children’s baseball games and extra curricular activities.
 

 

 

 

Dylan Nylund is originally from San Jose, California and then graduated from Central Michigan University. Previously working in sales, Dylan has decided to focus more on the customer relations aspect of business now and loves getting to work with people, day in and day out. Dylan loves to spend time with family, go to the beach and loves to golf. (Extension 329)
 

 

 

 

 

Joshua Sterkel is a recent transplant to South Carolina. He was raised in Southern Indiana in a small town. After receiving degrees in both Accounting and Business Administration he moved to South Dakota. After five years of battling winter, he decided his place was in the sunshine. He loves the area and plans to take in the sun for many years to come. Josh has gained experience throughout the years in accounting, banking, construction, legal, and customer service. His favorite hobbies include hiking, camping, taking in the local culture, and travel. (Extension 319)
 

 

 

 

 

Suzanne Allen is on our office coordinator and administration team working mainly with Krista. Suzanne has an extensive background in customer service and operating multiple lines.  She is happy to help you with any of your Association matters and can quickly and easily find a solution to most any issue. (phone ext. 320)

 

 

 

 

Shannon Alexander is a Charleston native and has worked in many areas of business. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Limestone College. Shannon brings many years of experience in administration and customer service to the team. Barbara Alspach holds an administrative coordinator position. Originally from Pennsylvania and relocated to S.C. in 2016. She is happy to be away from cold winters and enjoying the warmth of the South and excited being a part of the CMG team. Her background is in administrative and customer service. Zarian Breland holds an administrative coordinator position. She is highly motivated and detail oriented and, is a Charleston native. Zarian has 10 years of customer service and manager experience. Tessa Ray is a Charleston native. She holds a community coordinator position and is excited to be a part of the team here at CMG. She has many years working in customer service. Tessa enjoys meeting new people and strives to make lasting relationships with homeowners and co-workers. Sheila Smith is an Administrative Coordinator. She is excited about a career change and serving the homeowners in our communities. She grew up in West Virginia but has lived in Charleston with her husband and identical twin sons since 2010. She has over 20 years of teaching experience and brings with her the experience of dealing with thousands of students and their families. She is an awesome multi-tasker and will work along with her managers to make the homeowner’s experience the best it can be.

 

 

 

 

Haley Overton is our Customer Service Supervisor. Haley is originally from Birmingham, AL and has lived in the Charleston area for 7 years. She brings keen detail-oriented skills to her role and is an amazing administrative professional. Haley uses her expertise to help our Support Team, Enforcement Department, and our Front Desk provide excellent customer service to our clients. Kayla Washington is a Charleston native and has worked in customer service for 5 years. She enjoys going above and beyond to make homeowners happy. Elijah Armstrong is a graduate of the prestigious beach-side college of Coastal Carolina University. Elijah has worked in office administration and customer service for over 7 years. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree and has lived in the Charleston area for most of his life. He is a professional individual with an imaginative mind that runs on turning problems into solutions. When he isn’t doing various administrative duties as the Mail Room Coordinator, he watches films, practices photography, and does crossword puzzles while checking Google for some (most) of the answers.(phone ext. 350)

 

 

 

 

 

Tighe Bowers, is a Charleston native, and excited to be part of the CMG team as our Communications Coordinator. He has 16 years of customer service experience, including 12 years in hospitality. Tighe brings to us a very detail-oriented, highly motivated worth ethic with an innovative mindset. Allison McElveen was born and raised in the Charleston area. Upon graduating high school she started a career in Property Management where she gained over 8 years in the industry. Looking for a change she found Community Management Group where she now works at our HelpDesk. "Rita Tadlock is a Charleston native who has 5 years of customer service experience. She is highly motivated and detail oriented. Rita enjoys keeping our communities beautiful by working in the enforcement department and assisting home owners at the help desk.
 

 

 

 

 

"Robert Aubin, is originally from upstate NY, but moved to Charleston from Knoxville, TN in 2010. He has 10 years of customer service and management experience. Bob is a dedicated problem solver that sincerely enjoys serving our communities.

 

 

 

 

 

Amber Gibbs returned to the Charleston area in 2010 after living in Florida for 16 years. While in Florida, she ran the Aftermarket Department for a large dealership. Amber has been part of the CMG family for many years. Her infectious positive attitude and team spirit combined with her high level of personal motivation and outstanding organizational skills make her a perfect addition to our Accounting Department as our Accounting Team Leader.

 

 

 

 

Rhonda Collingham A Charleston resident for her entire adult life, Rhonda Collingham has worked in several areas here. She is now a valued member of the Accounting team. Before joining our Group, Rhonda gained nearly a decade of experience in business management in the Charleston area.

 

 

 

 

 

Vera Hannaford, was born in South Carolina, but grew up in New York City before returning to the Palmetto State for high school and college. She’s served in the Air Force, and has experience in accounting, finance, and customer service. In her free time, she loves to knit, crochet, read, watch sports, and explore the lovely Lowcountry.

 

 

 

 

 

"Jackie Longhofer moved to the Charleston area from Nebraska in 2010, where she gained more than 15 years of Customer Service experience. Since moving to Charleston she has attained her Associate’s Degree in Accounting. Jackie has a strong background in Tax Preparation and Customer Service. Jackie is a member of our Accounting Team and looks forward to helping homeowners in any way she can. In her spare time she enjoys kayaking and being outside in the warm Charleston weather.

 

 

 

 

"Carol Baker is originally from Savannah Georgia, but has been in the Charleston area for over fifteen years. Carol has an extensive background in customer service and all areas of accounting. In her spare time she enjoys the beach, bike riding, and spending time with her two grandchildren.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Charmaine Singleton is a native New Yorker but has lived in Charleston for 20+ years. She has earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston in Sociology. She has also earned her EMBA in Business Management through the JWMI. Her background includes 15+ years of Customer Service and Management experience. She loves all types of music, spending time with her family, and loves to enjoy a good laugh!

 

 

 

 

Kerri Bailey, is a Charleston native. She comes to us with over 15 years of customer service. Kerri started as a coordinator in our Enforcement Department but has since moved into our Accounting Department as our Collections Coordinator. She is highly organized, detail oriented, and enjoys assisting others.

 

 

 

 

 
Gerry Mason, is a Senior member of our Maintenance crew. Gerry came to South Carolina from Virginia in 2006 after working in the marble shop for TAC ceramic tile for 10 years. He worked for Sears in building maintenance in the Charleston area before coming to CMG maintenance and has been doing common grounds maintenance for the past 10 years. Gerry is a Navy veteran serving in destroyers in the Mediterranean and Caribbean seas, and a certified backflow tester for South Carolina.
 

 

 

 

 
Nelson Kelly, is a member of our Maintenance crew. He is originally from Ohio and is skilled in carpentry, light electrical, plumbing, painting, tile work, and power washing. Nelson has been married for 28 years, and has three sons and is the proud grandparent of one grandchild.
 

 

 

 

 
Jay Hanckle, is a member of our Maintenance crew. He was born and raised in Charleston,S.C. and has lived here all his life, except for his time in the Marine Corps. Jay likes fishing offshore and inshore, and also enjoys cooking on his smoker and making different types of BBQ sauce. Carpentry is Jay’s specialty.
 

 

 

 

 
Bob Pancoski, is a member of our Maintenance crew. He is originally from Pennsylvania, but moved to Goose Creek in 1975. Bob is married, has three daughters, and a son, plus three granddaughters. Bob’s specialty is pressure washing.
